Our Discovery trail formula with guides

Come and experience the Discovery Trails adventure in the heart of the world’s oldest and most beautiful deserts, learning about their history and the extraordinary wildlife that inhabits this region of the world.

We will travel by 4 WD car to discover the breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary wildlife of Southern Africa, off the beaten track. Sometimes we will take difficult tracks to reach rare and confidential places. We will from time to time bivouac in wild places away from mass tourism.

• Each route, each stage will leave you with an unforgettable memory, and very often with the feeling of being alone in the world in a majestic environment;
• Our carefully planned Discovery Trails in Southern Africa include many photo stops, relaxation, walks, hikes, safaris, and breathtakingly beautiful sights;
• We will travel in small groups of 3 or 4 cars with 1 to 4 occupants, in bivouacs, camping or lodges;
• If you wish, Discovery Trails can recommend reliable 4 WD rental companies;
• We will be happy to answer your questions and to help you with the various procedures;
• Throughout your Discovery trails adventure in Southern Africa, we will be vigilant to your safety, we will tell you about the landscapes, the communities, the flora and the fauna, but above all we will be there to help you in case of need.

Accompanying rate

• 210 euros per day and per crew, for trips to Namibia and South Africa
• 245 euros per day per crew, for trips to Botswana.
• Not included: international and domestic flights, your own vehicle, fuel, meals, accommodation, paid activities, park entries, personal expenses

Reservations

Reservations should be made well in advance due to the small number of pitches in campsites and lodges. For Namibia you need to allow 10-11 months, for Botswana 12-13 months.
World travel insurance is compulsory for Namibia, Botswana and South Africa.
Deposit on booking: 30% of the invoice

Balance to be paid on the due date of the invoice (2 months before departure)

Departure guaranteed from 2 crews booked for Botswana, from 3 crews booked for Namibia.
